WINNERS FOR THE 2020 PARADE OF HOMES ANNOUNCED!
PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS AND
INDUSTRY AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE
Colorado Springs, CO (October 12, 2020) — The Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs (HBA) announced the winners of the People’s Choice Awards for the 2020 Parade of Homes. This year’s featured homes ranged in price from the mid $300,000s to $2,400,000. Nineteen builders presented 24 homes located among 16 communities throughout the Pikes Peak Region for the 66th Annual Parade of Homes.
The coveted People’s Choice Awards are voted on by Parade of Homes attendees who visited a minimum of eight homes. Voting was available online to remain COVID-aware. The People’s Choice Awards were broken out into multiple price categories.
On Wednesday, October 7, recipients of the Awards were honored by the HBA at the Parade of Homes Awards Banquet held at the Colorado Springs Marriott. Bo Jaxson, the morning show host of Cat Country 95.1, was the emcee of the evening. The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department sponsored this year’s Awards Banquet.

La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries provided a $5,000 shopping spree grand prize for one lucky Parade-goer who voted. This year’s winner is John McAfee from Colorado Springs. Penrose St. Francis Health Systems presented a prize of an Apple Watch to Gracie Marquez of Colorado Springs.

The HBA Parade of Homes offers the public a first-hand look at the current trends and greatest innovations in new home design. The three-week event showcases these trends in affordable living to luxury dream homes complete with every amenity imaginable. The 2020 Parade of Homes was held September 11 - 27 with homes closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
