Every inch of this modern farmhouse was thoughtfully designed by the future owner, who happens to be the builder. The house layout and placement on the lot was used to maximize breathtaking views, while providing outdoor space that is protected from the infamous winds that travel along the plains. Large windows fill all sides of this house, including a bifold door that allows for a seamless transition to bring the serene outdoors in.

This custom-built home was designed with the family in mind. The open floor and spacious kitchen are designed for the family’s love to entertain. While large bedrooms create a sanctuary for every member of the family. The laundry/mud room was thoughtfully designed to allow for a wash-off station for dogs and kids as soon as you come in from the outside.

Clean lines and a neutral color palette contrast modern design elements to create a contemporary space that still has the comfortable and familiar feeling of farmhouse charm. This home was designed to entice a feeling that makes you want to come in, kick off your shoes, and stay awhile.

While Calton Homes is a new builder to Colorado, they bring over 40 years of combined experience to the area. Calton’s mission is to mix functionality and design to create the best space for their clients to call home. Technology and innovation are used to provide unique products and a seamless interaction on each project. A family-owned and operated company where lasting relationships built on trust, value, and quality is the everyday goal of the team.

Comfort and ease are the focus for the interior design of this home of an active family with children.  A neutral palette that mixes woods and metals creates an inviting space to come in and unwind.  The design incorporates elements of modern and rustic pieves to pull contemporary design into a traditional farmhouse setting.

Gathering areas with varying seating options and an oversized dining room lend to the family's nature to entertain.  Each space is grouped to be its own destination or easily combined for a seamless gathering space with large groups.  Dark blue is used throughout the home as an accent and is boldly used in the master bedroom in contrast to light linens and create a calming oasis.  The children's rooms are designed with each of their personalities in mind and to create a space to play and grow.
