The 2019 Parade of Homes is More than Builders
The Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs has a long history of supporting the Pikes Peak community first through HBA Cares and now with Careers in Construction Colorado.
In 2019, the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs is adding two events to the parade of Homes event line up. Join us for the our special events supporting Careers in Construction Colorado and HBA Cares.
Tickets are $100/person per event.
Careers in Construction Colorado Night
Saturday, August 3 * 6:30 PM-9 PM
Hosted by Vantage Homes in Flying Horse, this special night will benefit the Workforce Development Committee that is expanding its Careers in Construction Colorado (CICC)program that is putting vocational training back in high schools. Starting with two schools in 2015, CICC is currently at ten schools in El Paso County and growing by three schools in the 2019-2020 school year. In addition, the program is growing along the Front Range, with your local HBA being the hub of all information and resources.
This special event starts at 6:30 PM where you can enjoy refreshments, participate in our wine draw and networking with others while supporting Careers in Construction Colorado.
HBA Cares Night
Saturday, August 10 * 6:30 PM-9 PM
Hosted by Alliance Builders in Flying Horse North, this special night will benefit HBA Cares as they partner with other nonprofits to support transitional and accessible housing in our community. HBA Cares has been heavily involved with Family Promise, whose mission is to support families with children who are in homeless situations or at risk of becoming so; Dream Centers, who is committed to ending generational poverty and homelessness in the Pikes Peak Region; The John Zay Guest House, expansion which doubled the size of the Guest House for families whose loves ones are undergoing critical medical treatments at Penrose Hospital; and so much more.
